Hi NetTVMod,

since people in Germany use their TV to listen (see http://www.supportforum.philips.com/showthread.php?1014-Most-populair-apps-per-country.&p=3207&viewfull=1#post3207) I think a lot of them (including myself) will be happy with a "Visualization App" alternative to mute the screen.

Hi all, with my 40PFL8605K02 I can mute the screen using the green button on the remote control.

Hi Pirat1876,

I know that the screen can be muted. But imagine it's a TV (and not a radio) and you have guests and indeend want to talk with them and in background there is a little bit of music and for entertainment use a music vis app at a ambilight tv - what a cool scenario at your living room.

So far I do this with itunes and Wi-Fi MediaConnect and its cool.
