Hello everyone out there.
I've got an Arcitec 1095 shaver and am having problems with the battery life. The shaver is apporximatley 5 yrs old, and the problem is that the battery doesn't fully charge, and then discharges what it has charged up very quickly. The battery is supposed to charge to 65 minutes, but only registers 54 minutes, and usually discharges after about 6/7 shaves.
Is it time to replace the battery?
Helpful comments would be most appreciated,
Many thanks,
Ed Marley.

From what I know about batteries, 5yrs lifetime with daily use are plenty, and losing capacity is the typical sign of an aging battery.

In short: yes, I believe the battery is probably on the way out. What I don't know is how to replace the battery, or if it is made to be replaced at all. In electronics, we now have the unfortunate situation of batteries that are integrated into the chassis of the device, and thus can only be replaced by the manufacturer.

My suggestion: contact Philips directly, via a local shop or their direct support contacts.
