I have bought the rights to watch TV and movies.
In the beginning there was no problem at all, we could see all the movies without problem.
But later that day we had a problem with seeing the movies in the children category. Some movies we can't see without problems at all, but when we are trying to play some of the children movies, then it when play them.
When we try to play them they won't start, and instead it just keep on thinking in a long time, and at last the picture freeze.
We have problems watching TV series too, even though we have paid. When we try to "play" it, it won't start, it only thinks in a really long time. But in the same time, there is movies where it isn't a problem at all.

When we call customer service they tell us that we have to go to Philips.com and then we have to download some application on some USB and then put it into the TV. But we don't know anything about this and we really don't know what to do?

Anyone who knows what's wrong?

Hi,

I think, they suggest to update the firmware of the TV. So got to the support website of your TV, download firmware installation instructions and the update. Then follow the instructions to install the update.

Actually, it is the opposite situation:

I have the same experience with VIAPLAY and firmware 150.82 on my 8007T/12.

When I start VIAPLAY app, it displays a pop-up saying something like "if you recently upgraded the firmware on your Philips TV, you cannot view online sports. On VIAPLAY web site you can find a DOWNGRADE firmware to fix the problem. VIAPLAY is working on a solution."

Clearly, what they are referring to is that recent Philips firmware upgrade BROKE something related to VIAPLAY streaming - and yes, besides sports, it also broke streaming of children's movies. Other movies play alright.
