Volume up and down random, screen buttons misconfigured

Hello everyone,

I have a 42" Philips PFL5604H/12. Since I bought it once in a day, other days even worse it shows this strage behaviour:

-Volume goes to the maximum or minimum
-The remote control becomes unresponsive
-The screen buttons change their functionality. Volumen up button changes source, volume down becomes the change channel button...

I have the latest software version fot the TV (which does'nt mean too much as it was released in september 2010...)

The onyñl things connected to the TV are a pair of philips earphones, an HDMI media center and the antenna cable...

Any help?

You can try to disconnect the media center, but it sounds like a problem with control panel or it's periphery. If the control panel works wrong, remote control is also not works correctly
