I have just purchased a DS3205 and as we'll as simply playing my iPhone 5 tracks I want to use it as an alarm. The trouble is after 15 minutes the screen goes black and the dock also goes into standby. Although the alarm does go off it is a default beep rather than the music I selected. Am I missing some vital bit of configuration?

Thanks in advance.

- first make sure you haven't quit the app and have it dock on the docking speaker (the screen will not go black in this way)
- then the problem is that when it lit up all night, how can you sleep? there is a light bulb button on the alarm screen pressing that, the screen will be at its dimmest.
- when you are in the app, it should be able to output the music as the alarm tone. (but if you have quit the app, the tone will only be the bell, forest, ocean etc those default ones. and it only lasts for 30 seconds).

if you want to put the app in the background, kindly be noted to go to the settings --> notification --> DockStudio --> put all the notifications option to be on.

reminded not to put your phone to mute as well.

hope this helps...
