55pfl8007 speakers

I'm about to buy the 55pfl8007 but i was wondering whether or not you can use the tv without the speakers in the tv stand(so with my own wall mounting device) or are you than obliged to use a reciever/soundbar for sound.
In other words does the tv have 'simple sound' for watching the news for example which i do not necessary have to watch in surround sound

You can mount the "stand" as wallmount. Optional with or without your own wallmount.
