TV hangs when switching to "Watch TV"

When I switch my 55HFL5007D/10 from and HDMI input to "Watch TV" it occasionally hangs with just the 'searching' dots swiping across their little box at the bottom of the screen. Whilst this is happening the TV does not respond to any input from the remote or the physical buttons on the back. The only work-around is to pullthe power out and restart the TV.

any ideas?

- diconnect mains 2 minutes
- update to latest software
- reinstall tv

Same issue here ! TV model 42pfl4307h. Hangs sometimes when I press "watch tv".
We are in 2013 and I discovered at least 10 bugs/issues/ situations which make me PULL OUT THE POWER CORD if I want to use the tv anymore !!! in 2013 !!!!
