Dear Users,

New software version (v6.5) for M100 has been released.

Improvements brought by this software version includes:
Improved Monitor set-up with Wi-Fi network
Improved video streaming performance
Dropbox video recording bug fixed
Bug related to incorrect Monitor Time fixed

Attached is the instruction on how to upgrade through iOS version of Philips In.Sight App and Android version of Philips In.Sight App, respectively.

I'm trying to complete the update exactly as the instructions say, I have been trying 2 iPhones and 1 ipad to complete the update. It fails every time. It fails after about a minute, turned off my power saver restarted app even reinstalled them and restarted the phone. Any assistance is greatly appreciated as I cannot us the alerts while the firmware is not to date.

After a min sometimes the time until update is finished might say 15 min left before I get the error message "update failed".

I am having the exact same issue. Have not been able to update firmware since I purchased in December. I am experiencing the same message after approx. 1 minute "Error: Update Failed".
I also cannot seem to get the second monitor to connect.

I am not able to update firmware since I purchased in December. I follow the instructions exactly as provided and update continuously fails. After approx one minute I get a message "Error Update failed". I was hoping the new firmware update would allow me to add my second monitor which up to this point has not been able to connect to my network. One monitors works fine.

I have the single camera and iOS 6.1.3 on all my devices. Alerts are not working as well.

Hi,

I got the Duo Pack Cameras. Both Cameras firmware have been updated to 6.5. My InSight IOS app version is 2.2.1, and my IOS version is 6.1.3

Since these firmware and app updates, the cameras themselves are working but both Audio and Video Alerts, Dropbox recording, and Push Notifications are not working at all.

I have tried reverting everything to what they were originally but that has had no effect.

I have been checking the forums etc for anything that might help but cannot find anything regarding a fix except a post from Philips to say its a backend problem and should be sorted by now.

However, this is not sorted as I have not being getting alerts for some time now.

Is there any indication anywhere of what the problem actually is and subsequently what the fix is?

The cameras are pretty useless without any of this functionality.

Have you tried off your alert from your phone and then switch it on again?

Yes I have tried turning alerts on and off from both my iphone and ipad. No change to the problem.

Has there being any further updates or fixes that we can try?

I have installed the latest application software version over the weekend. Restarted both my cameras but the problem is still the same. No Alert notifications, no dropbox recording.

I've been on the app store and it is still v 2.0.0 is the 2.2.1 acessible to the iphone 4? or has the new version not been released in the UK yet?

It has been nearly 2 weeks since the last update from Philips stating that Philips Dev Team are looking at the issue.

Surely there must have being some progress on the issue made at this stage?

The latest update from the team is that this can be resolved from the backend. We are still testing this.
We would let you know when we have more concrete information.

Meanwhile, we have a tester reported that when he set the alert sensitivity as 55%, he cannot receives the alerts; but when we increase the sensitivity to 80%. All are working fine to him again.

Appreciate if you can also have a try of that.

Thanks for that update. I did try increasing my alert levels but it made no difference.My Motion alert was already set at 100%, I increased the Audio to 85%, no change.

I note there has been an update for the same issue on another forum thread. I will attempt that fix and update both threads accordingly.

also, maybe try to uninstall the app and install it back again?

Hi ..
I had some trouble to Update with android ... But with my ipad and newest iOS . It worked fine.

Everything works also dropbox alarms etc . Thanks .

Idea for next vertion .... A button for video off to save bw , so live audio only is possible.
And Maby put Update in a new app . So when we install the app it updates the monitor ..

Keep up the god work ...
