This is my first post. That is why I apologize for any inaccuracy.
My TV randomly turns on and off by itself. I checked wires, disconnected all devices and upgraded software to lastest (99.0.0.0.) version.
Unfortunately, nothing has helped solve my problem.
Local authorised service refused my complaint due to their statement "no problem was found during our testing". In my point of view it is hard to prove an occurrence of random error, isn't it ?
Could anybody help me ? Local service seems to be not interested in solving of unclear cases....

Hi,

current main firmware is 96.0 and standby firmware is 99.0. Can you please re-check your Version?

Start TV Modus and press "123654" on the remote. You can flip pages with Cursor up and down.

Hi,

My TV shows 96.0 version but I followed all instructions written on this page: http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/cpindex.pl?ctn=42PFL4007H/12&dct=FAQ&faqview=1&list=aa12_list_partial.html&mid=Link_FAQs&refnr=0096196&scy=CZ&slg=ENG&view=aa12_view_partial.html . Is it O.K. ?
Restarting of my TV is followed by weird sound. It sounds like strong click or electrical short. Moreover, my 1st complaint related to self-amplifying volume was accepted. There was problem with rear panel with buttons. But my complains related to restarting of my TV were rejected....
