Peter

Ok, sorry.

I have a HTS4562 home cinema set and i am looking for the wireless module RWSS5510 for the 2 back speakers. I do not see any reliable store on the internet where i can buy this module, but the module RSW5512 is no problem.

Does the RWSS5512 work with the hts4562 or is the hts4562 only able to work with the RWSS5510 module ?

Thank you! I looked in corresponding leaflet for the RWSS5510 and RWSS5512 and the only one that states it compatible with HTS4562 is the RWSS5510, as you mention. Even the manual only mention RWSS5510. They do look similar, but if I were in your position, I would not risk to buy the RWSS5512. Unless the store is kind and take product back if it’s not compatible with your HTS4562.

In terms where to find the RWSS5510, Philips customer support or Philips online store might be able to help. If they can’t help, then I recommend you to find a prise comprising site.

All the best!

I have talked to the Philips Myshop store and indeed the RWSS5512 is NOT compatible with the RWSS5510, and does not work with the hts4562 set i have.
So now i am trying to buy the RWSS5510, but as said no internet store has it. So i tried to order it at some Philips supporting stores, but they came back that this module is not supported by Philips.
I askes Myshop if this is true and indeed this module can not be ordered anymore and there is no successor that supports the hts4562. Strange for a cinemaset of 1,5 years old.
So anyone suggestions where i could by the RWSS5510 ?

Don't upgrade the hts4562 to the latest firmware (1.52.00) if you find an RWSS5510. My rear speakers stopped working. Not sure if it is the firmware update or something else, I'm trying to find out. Pairing works, speakers work, but no sound when hooked up to the RWSS?

Hello P8r, May i ask where you bought the RWS5510 ?
I am not able to find a store who still has this module on stock.

I bought them about a year ago in the Philips MyShop. I've looked around to see if I could find another set just recently, but was not able to find one. I hope you will be more lucky in your search.
