I had a recent 3D demo done for me at a local store. I have a right eye impairment. I cannot watch 3D in theaters with those traditional red-green glasses, but I could see 3D just fine coming from both a plasma and a LCD screens. Amazing.

I barely passed the link's test, but I believe that this is due to the fact that I do not have monocular vision per se.

I have yet to see if 3D will have a nauseating effect on people's brains in the long run, and I am not speaking of disability but of side effects.

I also believe that current price of 3D gear is still prohibitive, especially if one has just upgraded his set to a modern LED LCD. In addition, the amount of 3D video is not enough to justify purchasing a new system, even though I am 100% pro upgrades. It seems to me that 3D video processors are better from a player point of view, when playing 2D sources, but I am not sure.
