I just received the wireless LAN adapter and followed the instructions i was given and i cant seem to connect to the internet. The wireless LAN adapter is plugged into the usb port on my tv but my tv constantly says "wireless network is not found."

What type of network is your router broadcasting (a/b/g/n)?
I am using a dual band router and use both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands with different names, but my TV only sees the networks that are broadcasting on 2.4 GHz.

Hi,

for Philips TVs you can only use Philips PTA01 as wlan adapter...

Yeah, sure but you can also use the WUB (which is the same hardware)
the question was more related to that i did not found any notes that you can use the dongle with this tv...

Hi,

can you please explain "WUB" in a little more detail?

hi

wub1110, thats the one specially for the HTS or BDP devices, its the same hardware as the pta01 without the media connect software which came with the pat01.

however, both sticks can be connected to the usb port on this tv but nowhere is mentioned that a wireless usb dongle works with this tv.
