Can't get 4:3 aspect ratio playing DVDs in BDP3200

I am playing an old British TV series in a DVD collection on my BDP3200 where the aspect ratio should be 4:3 but I can not stop it from being widescreen. I have a Philips TV as well and when I try adjusting the picture format it greys out the 4:3 selection. What can I do to watch it as 4:3 aspect?

Hi,

if you have a 16:9 TV, then you need to set up your player to "16:9" (NOT "16:9 widescreen" => this would stretch 4:3 to 16:9).
