Hi! As a well happy user of my BDP7300 Blu Ray player for over a year or so, I have never wanted to look into the 'Ethernet' or anything on this part of the players bits and pieces. I now am looking at these 'Windows Media Centers' that you can get for the TV, so you can stream movies from your PC (downloaded or DVD playing etc). Naturally, you want the best codecs set so you wont have issues trying to play anything! These 'sexy' looking GUi's show pictures, videos, music and everything else in a lovely display of future looking navigation on your telly.
Then I remembered that my player has the ethernet on the back - impossible for me to get a wire to this, so, can something (what?) be got to turn the ethernet into a Wi-Fi connection, so the player can connect to my Netgear wireless router? Or, if I want to watch movies on my telly wirelessly from my computer - can this wifi be fast enough to handle the data transfer?
Really sorry if these are 'nooby' questions - I am entering a realm never trod before !! Any ideas would be rather excellent from those 'in the know'
Thank you.
