problem with 32PF7521D/10 wont accept remote instructions

All of a sudden after 3 years my digital TV will not longer accept the input from the remote. I had it set up with cable as well and it wont take volume instructions from that either. Did the obvious, change batteries, cleaning the equiptment, switching off and turning on. Any ideas. Thanks

Hi Iffetta.

I had that problem on my TV too, a repair technician from Philips came to my house and replaced a board, if I remember correctly it was the Infrared receiver board.
