Hi all,

I do use a FritzBox 7170 to connect my Philips 32PFL7605H to the internet.
I would like to give NetTV a priority connection.
Therefor I have to define a "network application".

FB wants to know:

1) protocol
- TCP, UDP, ESP, GRE or ICMP ?

2) source port
- port or range

3) destination port
- port or range

What are the correct dates?

I have a similar configuration, Philips 42PFL7695K with Fritzbox 7390.

I have installed newest lab firmware. This gives the possibility to give priority to all applications for one device in the network. So you do not need to set specific protocol information.

Not sure if this is also the case for Fritzbox 7170. Do you have the newest firmware installed for your Fritzbox?

Yep, its the same. I got latest firmware also.
I want to give my Philips device priority for NetTV only. (not browsing).
On the other hand I do use a second router for WLAN. So the Philips is not directly connected to the FB. In this case all wlan devices get the same IP (because NAT) to the FB. Ok, NAT can be disabled on the WLAN-router, but thats not what I want to do. Best option would be to select exactly the right ports/protocol.
