almost every (if not all) model of 40PFLxxxx uses Sharp LCD 56" and 58" all so Sharp
42PFL some times LG.
In the past Philips all so uses CMO and AUO, but in the present i think they use only Sharp and LG (LG do not have 40")

Some Brands of LCD panel
auo
cmo
sharp
LG
Samsung
And on 2010/2011 sony

No, nothing new has been announced for panels. I expect the high end models will use Sharp's UV2A, as 2010 models.
They are advertising a new coating though (moth's eye), that "reduces" reflections.

Hi,

as far as I know, only the 46PFL9706 has this moth's eye feature...

If the Moth Eye Filter is a prerogative of the 9000 series, for the other TV was used a new anti-reflective filter

And the Local dimming is only tv 40-46 and 52 series 9000,
Moth Eye Filter-bright pro

No, they were not. 2010 panels were UV2A, 2009 panels were XGen.
UV2A are better than XGen.
