My English is far from perfect, so I hope this makes sense.
Here is the situation: My home theatre system is turned off, and I only want to remove the disc from the player.
The problem is that just opening the player's tray launches “One-touch play” -function, which turns on TV and AV-receiver. Entire process takes about 20 seconds, and all this time the player is locked, so that I can’t even close the tray.
I think it would be much better, if “One-touch play” took control AFTER the disc is loaded, not before. This way one could take out the disc and close an empty tray without waking up the entire AV-system.
I know I can always turn off “One-touch play”, but I don’t want to do it because it’s a good feature. I just wish it would be a little bit smarter. Perhaps in the next firmware update...:)
(My blu-ray player is BDP2850)
