No sound from external soundbar/sub?

I have a Philips 42PFL3604H/12 LDC TV and I've tried connecting it to an external speaker system/soundbar, but I don't receive any sound. The internal speakers are still playing and I have no idea what to do. I use the audio L/R output, but nothing happens.

Am I doing something wrong? Please help!:confused:

this TV does not have any Audio Output Connectors.
The Connectors on the Back or on the Side are for Input only.
