Muse looses all information after power off

I've had my Muse (SA3) since half july 2011 and I was pretty happy with it. Until these last few days: after power off and on I have to start with choosing the language, setting the time and date again etc. Then when I get to the opening screen the lists are empty. It says there are no music (in my case podcasts) no video's and no photo's. When I go to the files, in albums it says they are in a format it cannot read, in music I can open the files and listen to them, but only one at a time.
When I connect it to the PC and look in Songbird it shows all my podcasts the way I expect them.
I'm not very technical and tried some probably stupid things, including reset and an such things.
In the end I decided to try "repair my philips" but even that does't work: it says it doesn't have acces to the storage and I need to turn it on, but I don't know how.
Please is there anybody that can help me?

Hi Prulleke,

As the loss of information after switching off is a new occurrence, I would also like to suggest checking for any Firmware updates on your player as this may be the cause for the problem.

To check for updates, please launch Songbird with your player connected then:
1. Click the icon of your player on the left hand side.
2. Select the “Tools” tab.
3. In the 'Update Firmware' section, please then press the 'check for updated firmware' button.
