HI,

I just purchased the BDP7600/12 player, and since I got it installed I've had nothing but problems regarding network connection. The current situation is that the player does not detect the Ethernet (wired) connection, and just prompts me that no cabe is connected. The wireless network seems to work though. When I try "Browse PC" from the main menu nothing happens, it doesn't even tell me that no servers are found, as it did in the beginning.
I got System SW version of 1.09, and the software update tells me that no update can be found - so I guess it's the latest...

Anyone got any tips on how to resolve these problems? If not, the player will be returned on Monday :)

Edit:
After further investigation I've found that the problem with "Browse PC" only exists when my Windows Home Server is online on the network. This has also been confirmed in another thread (http://www.supportforum.philips.com/en/showthread.php?2301-DLNA-Troubles-with-BDP7600-12-(no-connect-to-server)) on this support forum.

I must agree with what's stated in that thread regarding it being a software problem on the BDP7600. Please, Philips, can you look into the problem and deploy a new firmware update?
