Wish for the next year blu-ray player models

What I feel the current blu-ray models from Philips lack is a good media player.

The new Philips HMP3000 (http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?slg=en&scy=pl&ctn=HMP3000/12) is impressive as it can handle ogg, flac and various subtitle formats, and everything else I want from a media player.

Unfortunately, the HMP3000 doesn't have any optical blu-ray drive so it can't play blu-ray/DVD discs. A Philips HMP3000 with an optical blu-ray drive would, in my eyes, be perfect, so please make it happen! :)

Hi,

the other way round would be better - we want the codec support for the BDP ranges... ;-)

The possibility to insert a HDD (such as in HMP7000), SD-Card reader not only for BD Live/ VOD, eSATA, USB on front and back...

I wasn't aware of the HMP7000, but to be able to put in a HDD would indeed be quite nice (especially if it had enough room for a large 3,5" drive) :)

Not that important though, as I don't really mind having an external HDD connected using USB instead.
