Hello,
I have discovered it is impossible to change the aspect ratio on video/movies played from the USB socket
I have tried all options contained in: Video Setup => HDMI Video => Native etc. etc. and the player will always stretch the video to fill the whole screen of the tv, I have tried the alternative on 2 other tv's with the same consequence.
I have exhausted all options to fix this using this player and I find it most annoying a movie e.g. Star Wars Return of the Jedi with aspect ratio 1920 x 824 will play in perfect aspect ratio on a computer will stretch the 824 to 1080 pixels meaning everything looks out of proportion e.g. stretched characters and landscapes.
This negative aspect of the player seriously detracts from the enjoyment of buying and owning this and I am considering returning it for another manufacturer.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Yours Faithfully,
