Universal remote

hi,

I am plannig to buy this remote control:

I have Philips LCD TV and Philips Sounbar. But I also have Albis SceneGate 8000 Set top box.
Does anybody know if it will work for all of them?

Very good remote, easy to setup if the device is in the database.
(You can configure it only if connected to the pc, and needs a connection the first time you put the batteries in).

In my case, the database does not have the SAT receiver of the most popular SAT provider in Greece. The remote can learn the original remote, but it is a very consuming and boring process.

And why the program does not update learned remotes back to Philips (so as to add them in their database so other customers do not re-invent the wheel) is a mystery to me.

So, the worst case scenario is that you may have to teach the remote for your set top box...
