Hi!
Please help me, a computer fool. :)
When I want to put movies onto my Muse player, the software crashes. The first time it worked great, they were AVI files.
Now I have mp4 files which I want to use. The software says:"Converting media to be suitable for playing", but this takes forever en and after a while crashes. There were some movies uploaded to the machine, but random ones. When I try to convert the files to AVI before using the Songbird program, the files aren't recognized.
Does anyone have an idea to help me?
thanx a lot!

avi and mp4 are supported. but at the same time, you may check the codec... if it's out of scope, then even it's in that carrier (for example .avi), it cannot be played.

mediainfo is a good tool to check the codec for the files... (mediainfo.sourceforge.net)
