Hello,

I am wondering if IP-EPG is coming available for my 46PFL7605H which is a 2010 model ? I do read so many different answers from other people, i think it is better to ask Philips self to get a clear answer.

So, Is it or will it only be for 2011 models?

I also want to know if there come a now&then information splashscreen in the bottom of the screen.

Greetings,

GoForIt

Hi,

1) it depends - see: http://www.supportforum.philips.com/en/showthread.php?1509-Electronic-Program-Guide-(EPG)-accessibility-overview. but it also depends on your (cable) provider (e.g. ziggo, but this should work in the near future as I read here in the forum)

2) see clarification 7: http://www.supportforum.philips.com/en/showthread.php?2223-Important-Bugs-which-need-to-be-fixed-in-2010-firmware-(TV550R1)

Hello Toengel, your overview is showing me my 2010 model will not have IP-EPG (i use DVB-C and live in Netherland).

Bummer....

Edit; i have Ziggo.

I have take notice from what you have written in your 1st post, but the overview show me something other.

But can i see the original post where Philips themself is saying that Ziggo users will get IP-EPG with DVB-C?

Hi,

it DOES depend on your cable provider.

Thanks for your answers so far Toengel, but i want to hear that from a Philips member or read a (old) post where they say it will be implented in 2010 models with Ziggo and DVB-C.

Hi,

the red underlined text in the link above is from Philips... see changelog in that post.

It will be available after the tests are 100%. Software is written already.
