NP3900 and Dock iphone

Hello,

I recently bought a NP3900 and a dock iphone (DCK3060).
I was thinking it could work together but I got quickly disapointed:

DCK3060 can plug on NP 3900 which has the "docking function".
When I plug my iphone 4, it says that no device is recognized.
I tried to use the legacy mode and the other mode, but no success.

Does anyone have an idea of what I should do?:confused:

Just tried it (iOS 5.0).

It works. The iPhone indicates on its display "Docking" (when you click on the EJECT key looking icon). So shall be no SW problem ...

I found however that the dock is not the most smartest in terms of design. With my nice looking pouch it didn't work originally (seems connect fully insert). So I removed it and then it worked.

But not a big problem, the set is from my father, using his pouchless iPhone 4 is ok. :)

Yes, you're true... Without any pouch/case, it works fine (ios4.3.x/ios5)!
1mm pouch is too much for DCK3060.

My dremel is my friend, i will try to fix the dock if possible!

Dr. Dremel is indeed a good and handy friend. I would most likely spend on my next trip to Asia few bugs for some pouches ...

I also purchased the DCK3060 and was happy to find that it works with the NP3900 and my wife's iPhone 4 without having to remove the latter from its protective case. I am also pleased that the DCK3060 charges the iPhone 4 while it is in the dock.
