my remarks on np3900

hello,

i have a np3900 since on week and before i was using a freecom musicpal.
here are my remarks:
+:- amazing sound
- correct design
- great size
- andoid remote control

- : - sleep function with predefined values only
- dlna client freeze when some images mixed with audio mp3 in the same folder
- when switching off (the screen flickers from black to full white then off (not good when you have no light in bedroom)
- still not possible to register my np3900 on philips website (service unavailable)
- some existing internet radio listed are not working (example cafedelmar radio in the ambient type)

suggestion:
- sleep function: increase minutes 5 by 5
- adding radio throught web interface in local (and not through philips web site)

i will post morre marks after a little more used as i didn't used all features as today.

Hi Patrick !

What DLNA server did you use and what picture format (type and sizes) were the files in the "mixed" folder of the server ?
And were you browsing Music or Pictures with your NP3900 when it froze ?

The DLNA server is a french isp internet box called freebox revolution from free isp, picture are mostly jpeg between 20kb (albumart generated by winamp or mediaplayer) and 150 kb with size from 150*150 to 800*800 pixels. I was browsing music.
