Hi guys,

I'm interested in purchase a TV and PHILIPS 42PLF7606 seem to be a good choice, however I have some question/doubts introduced by the analysis I do reading opinions about the product:
- The model have 2D -> 3D conversion? If yes, how it works?
- The model supports Divx format?
- Apropos legends, it works fine? And formats supported?
- How is the web internet acess? It have a full open web browser?

Regarding the lot of posts I read, the opinion are very similar:
- The Image quality 2d and 3d is very good
- The web content available is poor
- The format video supported aren't enough

Thanks in advance,
Duarte

Hi

2d to 3d > no
divx > yes
Please also have a look onto the Product Specs (http://download.p4c.philips.com/files/4/42pfl7606h_12/42pfl7606h_12_pss_eng.pdf) to see what you can do with the TV.

Yes the TV has an full open web browser.
However, this is not a pc where you can install and use all available plugins, means you can not use Flash or Media in the open Internet.
That is why we have the NetTV Portal.

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Thanks.
It seems to be a really nice TV, disappointing don't have a 2D->3D conversion module at these days.

Best regards,
Duarte

Go to Philips site and download user manual, and take a look at supported codec.
