Software source code available?

Hi,

I just read that the firmware of the TVs is based on GNU license.
Did anybody here get the source code of the software? Is it possible to fix some problems in short time or is the code such a desaster as the resulting product looks like? Do we need to contact Philips to get the code? Is the code complete, so that it can be compiled?
