Philips MyRemote on Android 2.3.3 smartphone. App is dated 17 August 2011. I select "Media Library", then my Synology DS111 NAS. I select "Music", then "Artist". My library has hundreds of artists. The first seven artist names are displayed. I start scrolling down in the alphabetically ordered list of artist names. I get to the bottom of the list, "B.B. King". I wait and the list gets longer; now I can scroll down as far as "Bananarama". But after Bananarama comes... Aztec Camera. I can scroll down to Bananarama again and again it is followed by Aztec Camara. An infinite loop. No way to get past Bananarama. This doesn't happen every time. Other devices that play from the NAS don't have this problem.

Hi Thomas,

After looking into this issue we were unable to reproduce the problem with an incomplete media list appearing.

How large is the NAS drive you are using? Does the issue occur when accessing media from another source?

Kind regards,

Gary

The list of artists on my NAS is between 500 and 1000 entries long.

The NP3900 can't see Windows Media Player running on a Windows PC in my home network and it can't connect to DLNA servers running on my smartphone in the same network, so I can't see if this bug occurs when selecting another source.

It is possible that this bug is only triggered when the user scrolls to the bottom of the list while it is loading (and before it has finished loading). In that case the workaround is patiently to wait for the whole list to load before attempting to scroll down.
