Why register?!

Why should I register my device?! I did but I cannot see the advantage...settings are deleted everytime I reset my tv and are not restored from any account?!

I like my 47pfl7606k for its basic features like video quality. Everything else is a bad joke...I mean all features are a good idea but totally useless when implemented like they currently are.

Hi,

that's strange - if you register, all your Net TV settings are stored (App and their order). If I log in on my BDP - all Net TV App from my TV are loaded. Of course, you need to confirm the mail which you got during the registering process...

That was what I exptected...but didn't happen. So I got curious. As far as I can tell, I confirmed that mail. Also my device shows up on the philips website.
