Dear all,

I own a WAC3500D which died a few months ago. I replaced all capacitors in the PSU unit which made it work without any problems.

Now a few days ago the set stopped working once again - after turning on AC power the power on/off LED is flashing red. HDD and CD spin up, the vent is working.

I've rechecked all caps and they all look healthy (although I haven't metered them).

Checking the voltages on the output connectors of the PSU I've read: 30v, 12v, 5v and approx 7v (all to common GND) Haven't found any 9V voltage which I think should be present somewhere?

Has anyone any clues or any diagram which might at least ease debugging?

Hi there,
I'm afraid I don't have a circuit diagram for the WAC3500D but I have attached a diagram which shows what voltage levels you should be expecting. Also, have a look on Streamium Cafe as there are lots of useful threads regarding the issue you are having.
