I recently bought the following product

The product specification says

I want to buy 5.1 ch speakers and want to connect to Digital output: Optical. Please suggest which cable I will need. i.e. what name for cable should I refer

Which 5.1ch speaker set should I buy with Digital input: Optical which decodes the audio as media player only passthrough the audio.

i bought the HMP 5000, i have connected the mediaplayer with an optical cable to my sound system
trhis way you can obtain all music incl DTS.
connect the mediaplayer to tv with HDMI and with optical cable to your music/sound system
