3D and local dimming on 46pfl9705

Hello.

As newbie i ordered the sender PTA215 and glasses PTA516 and was shocked switching to 3D and everything black turned to grey! This looks ugly. In the options every setting belonging to local dimming is greyed out. Please, does anyone have further information if there is a solution to get the usual deep black levels in 3D?

local Dimming is not active in 3D mode, thats normal behavior.

That's really ugly as the black levels of the panel is very bad without local dimming. Does none, even the 9706, not dim local in 3D?
