The TV is connected via HDMI to a digital decoder. I believe the Digital decoder is DVB-C.

When using the "Search for channels"-function the TV cannot find any channels. Therefore, when I click the "Watch TV" icon (on the home menu) it simply says "No channels installed". However, the decoder works fine if I choose its icon from the home menu. After having changed to it I use the decoders remote to change channels etc.

Is there any way to make the TV find these channels, thus eliminating the need of the 2nd (decoder) remote control? Ideally I would simply wish to only have to click the "watch TV" function from the home menu and then use the TV remote to change between channels.

Thanks!

Hi,

when you are using the intenal tuner (with "Watch TV" function) you need to connect the antenna cable directly to the TV! Then you need to make a channel search...

Thanks for the help!
However, I am unable to connect the satellite cable (from the parabola) to the TV directly as it doesn't fit the 75 ohm antenna socket. Should I connect the satellite cable to the decoder and then connect the TV to the decoder using a coaxial cable? Or should I find a satellite-coaxial konverter and attempt to connect the satellite-cabel directly to the TV?

I am inquiring as I don't currently have these accessories and wish to purchase the right thing

Thanks again!
