Hello,

I'm in trouble with .MKV files on my brand new 40PFL8606M/08 (updated to the latest softwaere release). I put them on a USB pen drive Philips FM16FD05B/00: only one correctly works, whereas the others do not (files cannot be reproduced).
I checked other posts and I downloaded the Codec_table_all.xls, but I can't understand quite well!!!
All the files are correctly reproduced on my PC. Is there any hope to make them run on my Philips TV?
Thanks in advance for your valuable support!

Here I attach the report of MediaInfo about:

Hi,

your MKV file (which does not work) has a DTS sound stream at audio #1 - that's the problem... If AC3 is at #1 it should work...

Thanks a lot for the answer! Is there any convenient way to swap the audio #s?

Hi,

google for "mkvtoolnix" - I think you can easily switch the audio streams...
