BDP5200 Remote problem

Hi there,

I just bougth a BDP5200 and I found out that the remote does not switch on the device, I have to get up and do that manually. Once the device is on remote works perfetly, it even switches off the player. Any ideas o wy this could be happening?

Hi,

check on the support webpage if you have installed the latest firmware (be sure that NO DISC is in the tray during updating). If you problem exists even after the update, go to the shop and ask for a replacement.
