View Full Version : Can't watch youtube videos with Mediaconnect

I have a 55PFL4706/F7 tv and it seems to work pretty well. I loaded the most recent version of Wifi Mediaconnect onto my laptop and it does connect and show the desktop. At one point I was able to play video from the internet and have sound with it. Now if I go to youtube and try to watch a home made video I get no sound. This pretty much defeats the ability to project content to my tv. I don't get the DRM issue because am I not simply using my TV as an additional monitor??? It doesn't seem that there would be a DRM issue with youtube anyhow especially since I have tried my own youtube videos. I'm not even sure if it is a DRM issue as I have not tried to watch just plain home videos from my laptop yet. I really bought the tv (over a sharp aquous) because of the ability to connect wirelessly to my TV. Now it doesn't seem to work the way I expected it to and there is really no tech support or well detailed FAQ's for it....

i can say that there should be no Issues with Youtube.
So the only advise i got for you is to reinstall the WFMC Software.
If that does not solve the Issue please contact the local Call Center
