hi,
steps:
1. turn automatic backlight option on (any value e.g. best picture, best power etc.)
2. watch a movie from a player/pc over hdmi (without turning PC mode on)
result: the backlight on the display increases&decreases smoothly and repeatedly (the adjustment being extremely visible and stressing the eyes of the user)
expected: same behavior as on TV channel watch, that is no stress on the user eye (no visible smooth adjustment of the backlight).
regards,
Mike
PS1: fw version is 2.18, latest
PS2: this is an extremely embarrassing issue that could eventually turn into a medical lawsuit...how could possibly Philips put such a problem into a product sold on the market?!
