Hi Philips..

I got one question regarding the subtitles via usb on the HTS5591/12..

How come I can sometimes choose the "Character set" and other times it's not available, and it resulst in my subs not displaying right..? I mostly use subs in SRT format, and as I mentioned above, sometimes the character set option is there other times its not...?

Hi,

this problem was also present in differen BDPs:

AVI+SRT => character set was present
MKV+SRT => character set was NOT present

However, this was fixed for several BDP models...

well avi+str and mkv+srt works, but the MP4+srt doesn't work.. That was the file i played..
