Recording on SD card

Is it possible to record something directly to a SD card inserted in the SD card slot?
TV asked me to format the SD card in order to allow recording. I said yes but if I try to start recording then i see something like "No device" message. Is it feature or bug?
My TV is 32PFL6606H/12 and the SD card is 32GB.

Hi,

the SD-Card is only used as a buffer for Video on Demand services.

For USB-Recording you need a HDD.
