Hts3560/12

Hi,
I have a question about this 5.1 system.
When I put my I pod to the usb, I get a message on the screen that the item is not supported.
When putting a usb stick with mp3 files, everything works fine.
The I pod does not work on the usb input.
When I put my I pod on the usb of my 37PFL8404H/12, then the I pod works ok.
I get a browser to play the mp3 files on the I pod.
I have already installed the last software update on th Hts3560.
What's the reason that the I pod will not work on the hts?

Dear Sprint65,

my HTS7140 needs an external iPod dock to connect your device.

I've checked in your HTS3560 manual and is not mentioned.

I don't know if this could be related to your issue.

I don't think to need a dockingstation?
I just find this strange that the I pod shuffle works fine on the usb of the tv and not on the usb of the hts3560..

Think you are just lucky it works with the TV as I think that should not be possible.

Anyhow for your HTS you will need a docking station, no other solution

what's the reason why this should'nt work on the tv?It works fine with it.
Is his a hardware or a software issue?
