Wondering if there are more people experiencing the following issues on the Dutch app "uitzending gemist"

Cannot fast forward an episode, so you are forced to watch a whole episode from start
a 2cm wide black bar at the top of the screen is visible. It does not disappear when changing display format



Issue 1 is very annoying if you only want to see the last 10 minutes of the episode you missed.
Issue 2 is less anoying, but you suppose it should be possible to get the image full screen in stead of missing 2cm of screen

Tv: 46pfl9706; firmware 014.096 2012-03-02

Looking forward to your replies and/or solutions

solved issue 1 Apperrently caused by some error in the Net TV app memory. A reset fixed the ffwd option

Black bar still present though. Changing screen formats works on the area below the black bar, but not on the black bar itself.

Hi Northguy,

I had the same problem on my 32PFL9606H/12 - Software 014.095.

Helpdesk suggested to update to 014.096, but this did not solve the problem. It is still there.

What did you reset ? And how ?

You should reset the NetTv memory. I am currently not at home, but i think it is located under HOME > CONFIGURATION PANEL > NETWORK SETTINGS. This will reset all your installed Apps and fix the Fast Forward. A negative side effect is that you need to re-register your TV at Club Philips and that all manual changes to the NetTv home screen are lost.

Will try later today. But before doing so I would like to know what I will loose. Re-registering is not so bad, I started to ignore these messages anyway. I registered long ago and someone at the Helpdesk told me I did not have to re-register again. But will I also loose my internet History and Favorites ??

Uitzending gemist changed the user interface.
In the past you could select chapters in the video with numbers. That worked.
Now we see that the numbers are gone.
The App is not or hardly responding to the fast-forward button.

We have contacted them about the issue.

You will definately loose any self installed NetTV Apps and the sort order will return to default. So you will need to re-install any app that is not present in the initial default NetTV setup.

I don't know if you loose your internet History, but I would expect the worst. :(

@Mark: Resetting the NetTV memory works. At least for my TV.

Search enigine is not available. One cannot search for programs in the past (or series).

Hi Mark,

I think your intervention worked out well as "them" resolved most issues !! Fast Forward and Reverse are working again, the numbers in the bar are back and they are working fine as well. We can now at least move towards the end iso having to watch an entire programme to see the last part.

Since the new user interface i seem to have problems with uitzending gemist stams on my 9604 nettv. Streams are not responding in the middle of viewing. Problem is that i'm kicked out of the stream... Very annoying. Viewing uitzending gemist on laptop or ipad is working fine as well as rtl gemist.

Also search option is missing in utizending gemist app (was included previously)
