PFL9705h 40" keeps turning off and on constantly

hey i have this tv about 8 months and the past few days my tv keeps turning off and then back on or the screen just goes black ( still have audio ) then the audio goes , the ambi light stays on and then goes off aswell , it keeps doing this continuously , no point turning on the tv now as it keeps doing this , and tonight i upgraded to the latest firmwire

any ideas what to do ??

can you please check you signal quality during you are watching (option key - status). Does this also appear when watching a movie over USB?
