noticed some strange phenomena when pressing the info button.

With movies, the year of release is displayed many times with only 3 digits.
So we get "200" instead of e.g. "2008"

Sometimes letters also seem to disappear, but this can normally be 'corrected by the brain'.
With 200 we still have to guess between 2000 and 2009.

It does not make a diffrence whether EPG is from the internet or from SAT ( not sure if this is relevant here)

I could solve part of this mystery by comparing the INFO from DVB-C with DVB-S for the same program.

Have a look at these screens:

With DVB -C you can see a title line with a seperate text block, whereas DVB-S shows one complete text.
(Personaly I like the DVB-C variant )

But the last 's' from the title "Bangkok Dangerous" is missing in DVB-S just there where the second part should start.
Probably the same thing happens with the years.

Also at the end of the text something similar may happen.


BTW:
would it be possible to have the NOW and NEXT on the top on two seperate lines?
Almost no program fits in half-a-line. So you see NOW scrolling, but never know NEXT completely.
