Firmware BDP5500/12 / Simply share

Hi,

I've got the BDP5500, and the system SW is 0.29 ? there is a new one 3.17 ?

I have also problems with Simply Share, this model must have this function, but i can't find it on de BDP5500.
Als can't upgrade with the option software update funtion.

Hi,

you need to upgrade with USB stick. Download the file and extract it to your USB:

USB-Stick\UPG_ALL\BDP5500.bin

Plug in, goto setup, update via USB.

After finishing and the player is alive again you need to load factory defaults (see release notes PDF file).

Software is now up to date. When i want to use simply share what kind of menu option must be chozen ?
Disc, usb, smartTv ....

SimplyShare = DLNA...

On the BDP it's Browse PC... or you can push from your Smartphone via MyRemote app
