BD3000 7.1 sound

Hi

I have a BD3000 blu-ray player. Have connected this to a my 7.1 amplifier.

Will my BD3000 player support 7.1 DTS and DTS-HD MA 7.1 surround sound.

Hi,

you can take a look at the data sheet on the support webpage of your BDP.

It supports DTS and DTS-HD - you can only output it via HDMI (HD) and via COAXIAL (standard DTS).

The specification does not specify DTS-HD Master Audio. See link:

I was wondering if upgrading to latest firmware would solve the problem.
