MyRemote gets a lot of space

MyRemote in my IPad2 gets a lot of space. After browsing the guide and browsing the files in my DLNA server the app gets all the space available in my IPad (1.3GB). Is this really necessary? i have a couple of DLNA clients on my IPad and they take just a couple of MB.
