Hi,

I own a Philips 32PFL7605H/12 with the latest firmware. When I try to play a mkv file with two audios over USB the image runs ok but i the audio does not run, and it is not possible choose between the two audios with the interface for the USB.

Could you solve this problem?

Hi,

MKV is only a container format - it always depends on the included codecs. For example, DTS is not supported.

What should be the right audio codec we could use for MKV files to work on Philips TV? http://imagicon.info/cat/12-19/vbsmile.png

Hi Klauzser

The codec supported for .mkv files for 7605 is :
video: H.264
audio: HE-AAC, AC3

I have this problem on my 46PFL9705K/02 too. So I use my BDP7500S2/12 Blu-ray-player to watch the same mkv-movie from the same usb-stick. It seems to support more codecs than the tv. I recognized a similar problem with video-codecs. Some of them only work on the blu-ray-player and only a few directly over the tv.
